发布会上英特尔宣布了九代酷睿博锐（vPro）处理器的到来，这也是英特尔首次将酷睿 i9 处理器引入商用平台。但是整场发布会都很好地贯彻了不透露细节的方针，并未表明相关规格。会后新闻中，英特尔表示将推出14 款九代酷睿博锐处理器，用于高性能移动（H系列）和台式机（S系列）PC。而博锐 i9 处理器拥有 8 核心和 16 线程，在台式机上可以达到 5Ghz 睿频频率，在移动端则可带来高达 4.8Ghz 睿频频率。
英特尔还推出了14款全新至强E处理器，首次提供最多 8 核心16 线程，支持高达 5GHz 睿频频率、Wi-Fi 6（Gig+）和傲腾混合式固态盘以及 128 GB DDR4-2666 ECC 内存。
此外，英特尔还宣布今秋将推出英特尔酷睿X系列处理器家族。这些处理器将带来更高频率和内存速度，并更新英特尔睿频Max 技术 3.0。
事实上，早在这场发布会前，英特尔就爆料了一款全核均可达到5GHz的处理器i9-9900KS的存在，而在这场发布会上，它也得到了展示，尽管只是一个盒子。此前曾预期英特尔会在发布会上爆料价格显然也遭到落空。这款处理器计划于 2019 年圣诞季之前上市。

在公布众人瞩目的第十代酷睿处理器前，英特尔宣布雅典娜计划（Project Athena）、也就是笔记本电脑创新计划，推出了首个规范即1.0版本。而第一波符合该规范的笔记本电脑将在今年下半年上市。被认为商业互吹的现场，英特尔展示预览了宏基 Swift 5、戴尔 XPS 13二合一、惠普 Envy 13 Wood 系列、联想 Yoga S940等符合1.0标准的设备。
在1.0标准背后，又涉及到三个关键指标：电池工作环境下的持续响应速度、能够在本地视频播放应用场景下提供 16 小时以上的电池续航，以及在真实应用场景条件下 9 小时以上的电池续航、系统在 1 秒内从休眠状态唤醒等等。也就是说，英特尔计划通过这个规范为用户带来更好的PC计算设备。
最终我们还是要落到英特尔宣布推出第十代酷睿处理器，英特尔通过Deep Learning Boost（英特尔DL Boost）将大规模AI技术引入到了PC中。十代酷睿处理器采用10nm制程技术、全新 “Sunny Cove” 核心架构以及全新第十一代核芯显卡引擎，搭载了锐炬（ Iris ）plus 显卡，覆盖范围从酷睿i3到i7。
